You may have recently been notified that your insurance carrier, Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance, was acquired by Franklin Mutual Insurance Company on June 1, 2009.
We apologize if the letter was a surprise. We, too, were informed on Tuesday that this change was taking place – however, we were not informed that Quincy would be sending you a letter directly! It is frustrating because we like to be proactive by informing you of these types of changes — before you hear directly from the insurance company!
However, please rest assured that there will be no change in your insurance coverage and there is no action required on your part. As part of our ongoing service to you, we will review your account prior to your renewal to ensure that you are receiving the best coverages at the lowest premium. At that time, we may recommend a change or we will allow Franklin Mutual to automatically renew your policy.
